Water stone is a special calcareous formation that can form on plumbing fixtures, ceramic tiles, glass and other surfaces due to excessively hard water. If the stone is more old, it can be cleaned with creamy means that affect only the contamination itself and do not spoil the surface.
   3. If you need to remove water stone from plastic or glass surfaces, you should prepare properly. A light coating on glass or plastic can be removed with an ordinary soap solution, but vinegar or citric acid will be required for more serious contamination. Usually glass and plastic surfaces are easier to clean from water stone, and weekly treatment will help to get rid of the problem forever. You can also use special detergents from the household chemicals section – creamy and paste-like compositions have a gentle effect on the surface, but very effectively remove traces of water stone.
   4. Removing water stone from acrylic surfaces requires special attention – modern bathtubs and sinks are made of this material today. First of all, remember that acrylic cannot be treated with powder or abrasive compounds. The most effective means to combat water stone in this case will be citric acid – a solution of water and citric acid is prepared, which is applied with a sponge to the surface. After 15 minutes, the bath is again treated with a solution and rinsed with clean water.
