Description:

Principle of operation:

The operation of the pump is based on the movement of a piston placed in an electromagnetic coil. When an electric current is applied to the coil, the piston is rigidly connected to a flexible and elastic membrane due to its movement exerts pressure on the central part of the membrane by bending it. When the membrane is deformed, which is located in a sealed hydraulic chamber (hydraulic head), a vacuum is created, the lower suction valve opens) and the chemical is sucked out of the container. Then the spring mounted on the piston returns it to its original position against the motion created by the electromagnet. The return of the piston bends the membrane again, but in the opposite direction, thereby pushing the chemical liquid from the hydraulic pump head to the injection point. In this case, the pressure valve opens and at the same time the lower suction valve closes again.The continuous supply of electrical power to the electromagnet and the operation of the spring ensure the reciprocating movement of the piston and, as a consequence, the retraction and bending of the membrane in the hydraulic chamber. Thus, the suction and supply of the chemical from the container to the water supply network is carried out.
